I don’t think there is a more thrilling moment for an author than deciding upon a book cover. I’ve been self-publishing my books for over a decade and nothing compares to this very moment. I always decide on a cover before the book is done because it motivates me to see it as a “real book” and keep going.
I recently hired Zoe Norvell to design the cover for my forthcoming book, Don’t Do Anything I Would Do: Essays on Dating, Divorce, and Romantic Delusions. Zoe designed the cover of Sophia Benoit’s essay collection, Well, This is Exhausting and I’ve admired it for the longest time. So when she agreed to design my cover I was ecstatic!
She sent me 30 options to choose from (!!!) and I narrowed it down to these 4. Can you help me decide? Which do you like best and why? Drop me a comment and let me know what you think.
Once the cover is finalized I will be revealing it to my paid subscribers first! So you can always upgrade if you want to see the cover before everyone else <3
